District Announces New Substitute Pay Scale to Increase Competitiveness

Starting Monday, September 30, 2024, Haysville Public Schools will introduce a new substitute pay scale to remain competitive with other districts in attracting high-quality substitutes. This updated scale reflects the district’s commitment to providing fair compensation for the essential role substitutes play in maintaining the continuity of student learning.

New Pay Scale Overview:

  • Classified Salary Substitute: $12.28/hour
  • Certified Daily Substitute Pay: $155/full day
  • Certified Daily Substitute Pay – Long-Term (Day 11 & Beyond): $180/full day
  • Certified Daily Substitute Pay – Long-Term (Semester or Longer): $206/full day

This adjustment applies to all substitute jobs worked on or after September 30, 2024.
