The Mission of the Haysville Public School District is "The relentless pursuit of excellence.”

As outlined in the 2023-2028 Community Strategic Plan, we believe:

• USD 261 will provide students with an environment that is safe and conducive to learning.
• Students will have access to an innovative and robust learning experience from birth through graduation that prepares all students to navigate the workforce or post-secondary opportunities successfully.
• USD 261 will attract, hire, and retain world-class staff members and provide them with the resources to promote student success.
• Students can access curricular and extra-curricular learning opportunities outside of the traditional classroom. These opportunities include but are not limited to, academic events, career and technical student activities, athletics, school clubs, and the arts.
• USD 261 will provide a student-centered learning environment focused on building relationships that promote a positive school experience for all students.
• Staff will receive professional development that gives each person the tools necessary to build positive relationships with all students.
